Photography in Days of Pandemic

The act of taking street photographs is mostly reflexive and instantaneous. The feeling of isolation and restraint brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic in a tropical country later appeared in this photograph with symbolic meanings. Perhaps what best summed up our situation was the silhouette, which appeared with the full moon after a spider knitted a web between two electric wires. These days, we are individuals who are restricted inside a complex "network" like that of the spider web. And just as a harsh wind that can easily destroy this spider web, our vulnerabilities, fears and anxieties are affecting us in the same way.
